The Advocating right for minority women and children (ARIMWAC) is a fully-fledged Non-Governmental Organization registered in Somalia and operating in Somalia. We focus on meaningful participation, strategic partnerships and quality interventions to address humanitarian challenges, promote peaceful coexistence and amplify the voices of marginalized and minority communities in Somalia. ARIMWAC is an organization with head office in Mogadishu with sub-office in Southwest, Galmudug & Hirshabelle state, Somalia. ARIMWAC is a nonpolitical, non-profit making, human rights, aid & development-oriented organization founded in 2021. It was established by individuals from the Somali minority communities dedicated to improving the degraded conditions and rights of the underprivileged minority groups in Somalia. ARIMWAC seeks to help the minority communities in creating sustainable solutions to the problems they face and progress away from absolute poverty, exclusion, marginalization and unemployment.

ARIMWAC is under the management of Board of Directors who draws their strength and relies on policy directives from the assembly. The Board’s role includes reviewing policy matters, coordinating and guiding the implementation activities and other matters delegated by the general membership council with impartiality and objectivity.
